Here's what Jackie said in a Myspace bulletin about kicking his ass to the curb:
"Last nights episode-to clear up a couple of things. I did not make a derogatory remark about Brian Peelers client on camera or off-camera. The only reason he tried to bring it up to me on camera is to villainise me and set me up for something I didn't do. Lisa did not know this woman had cancer and made a comment about her breasts which she apologized for. I have dealt with cancer personally as well as watched my mother struggle with it so I am very sensitive about this disease. I have been employed in the past and in a million years would not have behaved the way Brian behaved with me. I can't imagine raising my voice or refusing to leave my boss' office when asked politely to do so. I feel totally justified in firing him. I have always personally disliked him but was forced to continue to employ him because he was chosen by the producers for the show. Please remember that this is a show and that 90% of the beautiful and inspiring work we did was left on the cutting room floor. The producers decided (regretably) to create through editing a very different and what I think a very negative show. This season is not in any way a reflection of what I or SkySport represents. I have spent a great part of my life trying to heal and am just as floored as you, the viewers, by the negative editing.
On a lighter note, I thought Erica looked beautiful during her shoot and it was a great self-esteem builder. Gregg B and Deenie are just not fitting! SkyLab is challenging and getting off to a rocky start but some powerful changes are yet to come.
Thank you-Jackie Warner"

It enraged me that Jackie and that catty, pathetic excuse for an assistant, wannabe actor Lisa were sitting up there saying those derogatory comments about Peeler's client who had cancer. And for Jackie to fire Peeler because he wanted to talk about what she said just shows that Jackie has some serious psychological issues. After she came back from that cruise and told her new girlfriend that she didn't have any fun, yet we all watched here get liquored up and flirt and kiss Renessa, made it obvious Jackie’s emotionally cripple. And what she did to Peeler when he wanted to be in on the charity discussion for Doug proved how much so. And then to read what she wrote in her myspace page solidifies it. She does not deserve to have her own show. I've been a fan of the show and of Project Runway, and I'm glad Project Runway will no longer be aired on the Bravo channel (the next five years it'll be on Lifetime) because this incident has turned me completely off from watching the Bravo channel all together. I stopped watching NBC almost two years ago. As a person who works in finance and is going for my PhD, I know that word of mouth is and has been the best advertising any company can ever have. And I feel it is my duty to get this out to all I know and have them tell all they know until something is done. I did this with Grey’s Anatomy when Isaiah Washington called T.R. Knight a faggot and grabbed Patrick Dempsey by the throat. And I urge every one of you who wants the show canceled to do the same.
You know, I can totally understand the issues you have with Jackie, TJ. I have never been a big fan of Work Out - at all, as I've shown in previous posts. But the important thing I always try to keep in mind is that it's a reality show. And that's why I break away from any real criticism of reality shows. Except Tila's show. Because I still can't handle watching it no matter how much I try. With editing, you can show whatever you want.
I don't know and no viewer really knows what was said about the client who was a cancer survior. And coming from from a family with a history of breast and ovarian cancer - any insult made to survivors I do take personally. But I can understand the cattiness of women - if a couple women were making fun of what they saw as bad breast implants and apologized when they found out the woman was a breast cancer survivor I have a hard time condemning that. For one main reason, I have made fun of women with bad breast implants. Not because I'm mean or viscious - although I will admit to being those things.
If I found out she was a survivor if I had made fun of her, I can honestly say I would go up to her and apologize. I would tell her what I had said, not to make her feel bad but to be honest, and then I would ask about her experience. Not just with cancer but also reconstruction. I have already survived one incredibly painful biopsy before by twenty-first birthday. And so I have considered chopping off my lovely 36C breasts and having implants put in. I don't know what happened there when cameras stopped rolling. But I know, if I had made fun of a woman with bad implants and found out she was a survivor - I would do three things. One, apologize - even if she hadn't heard me. Two - ask her about her experience. Everyone has something unique to live through. Three- ask her about her decisions and recovery. Because I know in ten years I might be going through a similar situation as her.
So no, I don't totally agree with what you say in terms of condemning Jackie and Work Out. Only because I know that a reality show never shows the full story. But I do agree that Jackie has some serious issues she should deal with - especially as she presents herself as a role model of the lesbian community.
